Placester
A real-estate website platform with codeless design, IDX, lead capture, CRM/email basics, and on-demand creative services.
FULL DESCRIPTION
What Placester actually provides
Placester is primarily a real estate website and IDX platform with codeless design, lead capture, basic CRM and email functions, agent management, and optional creative help. It can create the owned destination for marketing, but it is not automatically a complete paid-demand engine.
How it fits into day-to-day work
Plan domain ownership, content migration, MLS approval, IDX fees, forms, routing, analytics, and CRM handoff before launch. After launch, measure qualified form submissions, search use, saved-property behavior, organic landing-page growth, and the speed with which every inquiry reaches a responsible agent.
What the team must be ready to operate
Plan the full inquiry path before design approval. Confirm the domain, MLS approval, property-search experience, forms, privacy language, routing, analytics, CRM connection, content ownership, and who is responsible for ongoing edits and local pages.
How to evaluate the economics
Measure qualified inquiries and organic visibility, not design alone. Include subscription, build services, IDX, content, integrations, and internal editing time, then track conversion from landing page to conversation and client.
- Before launch: write down the source, promised unit, complete cost, team owner, response standard, and current baseline.
- During setup: test routing, permissions, integrations, exports, reporting, and the exact handoff to a person.
- Every week: review delivery, data quality, conversations, appointments, spend, and unresolved follow-up.
- At 90 days: compare signed clients and realistic pipeline value with all cash and labor invested in Placester.
Contract, data, and exit checks
Before committing to Placester, put the full term, automatic renewal, cancellation window, fee changes, territory rules, replacement policy, support level, and every included service in writing. Confirm who owns contacts, activity history, recordings, websites, campaign audiences, phone numbers, and creative. Ask which information can be exported in a usable format, what stops working at cancellation, how long data remains available, and whether any transition support is included.
